This is an RPM Traxxas X-Maxx Castle Mamba Monster X8S Black ESC Cage, designed to protect and secure the ESC body only, leaving the fan free for easy removal for wet running. RPM left the front, rear and sides of the ESC open to allow critical air movement, keeping your machine cool and in runnimng order. An encased on/off switch mount and antenna relocation plate are also included for further optimization.
While most mounts require double-sided tape for installation, this set-up ESC Cage for the Traxxas X-Maxx provides a solid, positive mount, locking your valuable ESC in place. Dual clamp plates prevent a massive slam from ejecting the ESC.
Tech Notes: The RPM ESC Cage for the Mamba X 8S ESC works with Castle ESCs from the following Castle part numbers:

This ESC Cage is guaranteed to fit the Traxxas X-Maxx running the stock TRA7724 Traxxas Receiver Box Lid and TRA7714 Chassis Support Braces only.
